To eagerly seek the fruit and the gift of the Holy Spirit and work in the body of Christ. This is in order to equip and build the saints to reach maturity and expand the kingdom of God both locally and internationally (Ephesians 4:7-13).

Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Zelalem Desta has joined Zion Church in 1998, committed to serving and fulfilling the church’s needs. Ordained in August 2000, he embraced his calling to guide and uplift the congregation and faithfully led Zion Church, serving alongside his beloved wife, Alemtsehay, until her passing into glory in May 2024. Pastor Zelalem has dedicated over two decades to nurturing the spiritual growth of the congregation. Through teaching, counseling, and guidance, he has continually helped individuals deepen their faith and strengthen their relationship with God.
With grace, wisdom, and compassion, Pastor Zelalem continues to shepherd Zion Church, driven by a vision to raise a generation that truly knows God and follows Him wholeheartedly. His ministry focuses on equipping believers of all ages to grow in their faith and serve with purpose, ensuring the message of God’s love and truth endures for generations to come.
Under his leadership, Zion Church has flourished as a vibrant community of believers, known for its commitment to prayer, outreach, and service. Pastor Zelalem has inspired countless individuals to step into their God-given callings, fostering a culture of discipleship and mission that extends beyond the church walls. His passion for seeing lives transformed by the power of Christ continues to shape the future of Zion Church and the community it serves.
